attending the Administration Seminar at the Embassy Suites in Monterey Bay, CA
were awarded their certificates of completion for a program of continuing education in
Special District Leadership and Management. These certificates are awarded to fewer
than 5% of Special District, City and County Directors, Managers, and Staff. The
Certificate of Completion represents tangible evidence of a recipient’s
professionalism and commitment to continuing education in and about Special Districts and
Local Government. The Certificate is presented by the Special District & Local
Government Institute upon
completion of three intensive courses focused on: Special District Finance, Special
District Administration (Leadership and Strategic Planning), and Special District
Governance. The courses, representing more than a week’s intensive training, must be
completed within three years and are taught by faculty drawn from the ranks of well known,
successful practicing Directors, managers, attorneys, and active consultants and advisors
who specialize in Special Districts and Local Government.
