Michael J. Zizzi is a partner with Leaf & Cole, LLP, a San Diego based CPA firm specializing in auditing local governments in California. Mike spent three years with a “Big Four” accounting firm prior to coming to Leaf & Cole 21 years ago. Mike has extensive experience with Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book) and OMB Circular A-133 (The Single Audit). In addition, Mike has designed specific procedures to assist local governments in analyzing certain aspects of their accounting systems and Mike has served as an “Expert Witness” on behalf of California local governments.
