Ms. Itagaki has over 20 years of water resources and civil engineering experience, specifically in conducting water resource planning, management, and funding programs for water, recycled water, stormwater, and wastewater utilities. Sachi’s work includes many efforts to obtain project funding, particularly from State of California grant and loan sources for groundwater studies and recharge facility construction, recycled water, integrated regional water management planning and implementation, and drinking water quality improvements projects. Sachi has prepared applications for the State Revolving Fund (SRF) program, Groundwater Storage Construction Grant funding under Proposition 13, Local Groundwater Assistance (under AB303 and Proposition 84); Integrated Regional Water Management Plan planning and implementation funding under Proposition 50; recycled water facilities planning grant and construction grant funding, and water use efficiency and desalination program grants as well as providing grant administration services to several clients. Her efforts have provided over $50 million to clients for water related projects.
